Aerotropolis Article: 2019 Leadership Change at Aerotropolis

The Detroit Region Aerotropolis Development Corporation respectfully accepted the resignation of Executive Director Rob Luce on November 19, 2018 effective December 27, 2018 to pursue a new opportunity.  The board will be meeting later this week to discuss the next steps in the process of hiring a new Executive Director and a plan during the interim until the position is filled.

“I am proud of the collective effort of the board and private sector stakeholders to bolster the Detroit Aerotropolis Development Corporation and support its mission to drive corporate expansion in the region,” stated Rob Luce.  “I look forward to assisting the board over the next month, to help ensure a seamless transition.”

The Detroit Region Aerotropolis will miss Luce and the great leadership that he has brought to the organization.  “Rob has done a great job in his tenure at the Aerotropolis,” stated Tim Keyes, board chairman.  “We will be looking for someone with similar attributes that will continue the momentum that Rob has created these last two years.”

The Detroit Region Aerotropolis will work with Luce during the transition period and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
