Latest News: Precision Machined Products Acquires Future Tool & Machine

Precision Machined Products, LLC (PMP) is pleased to announce its acquisition of Future Tool & Machine Inc., at 28900 Goddard Rd., Romulus, Michigan, effective February 1, 2022. Located within the Detroit Region Aerotropolis zone, Future Tool will now operate as Precision Machined Products. Integration into PMP’s operations and systems has already begun.

Future has significant manufacturing capacity across 40 machining and turning centers, 10 of which are 5-axis machines capable of extreme tolerance work. It will provide high-precision metal components to PMP’s space, defense, and aerospace sector customers, along with its own oil and gas, aviation, defense, medical and automotive customers.

Operating out of a 50,000 sq. ft., climate-controlled facility adjacent to Detroit’s Metropolitan Airport, this proximity to air transport enables immediate shipping of finished goods for “rush jobs.” Additionally, PMP/Future’s location in southeastern Michigan affords it access to a wide range of customer-approved processing facilities and raw-material providers.

PMP/Future offers its customers the latest in CAD/CAM design capabilities and a complete metrology lab. Its manufacturing capabilities are supported by an experienced Management team, together with a staff of professionals in Project Management, Accounting, Legal, and Purchasing.

“We are very excited to bring Future’s manufacturing skills and available capacity to PMP’s customer base,” notes PMP president Andy Newcomb. “PMP/Future has the ability to handle considerable incremental business with its team of skilled machinists and experienced operating leadership, providing the same level of excellence that customers of both companies have come to expect.”
